We have used the kennels for a couple of years now and it becomes a family. Once again excellent service. Bramble goes in wagging his little tail very happy whilst i'm in tears. Understanding - “We have been taking our two dogs, TJ and Marley to these kennels now for around 10 years. Gareth and Andrea have always been understanding how upsetting it can be to have to leave your animals but in my opinion they treat all their animal guests as their own and also become very attached to them. When we are away they always keep me informed by email that they are fine to make it easier to leave then. My dogs have always had the same kennel each time they go, which again helps the dogs to settle easier as they are already familiar with their surroundings. Just to say thanks again for having the boys - 4 male vizslas isn’t an easy ask! Also to say, I’m so happy with how happy they’ve come home! We recently boarded our dog for the first time at Alconbury Hill after feeling a little nervous since being the first time. Gareth & Andrea could not have put both us and our dog at ease anymore and completely understood just what it meant leaving our dog for the first time. After an arranged introduction to meet our dog we knew immediately this was the right place. Gareth & Andrea are a credit to the industry and true professionals and lovely people. Our dog Hank really enjoyed his stay and was so happy upon collection, almost too happy he seemed as if he wanted to stay there longer! Wholeheartedly Recommend - “Following flooding at our home, our fiive dogs had to be rescued by the fire service and immediately housed safely. Andrea & Gareth stepped into the breach, exhibiting a can-do, flexible approach. They were able to take in our dogs (who had never previously been kennelled) and give us the peace of mind that the dogs were safe, warm and well cared for. This was of enormous benefit to us as we were facing so many other challenges after being flooded out of our home. The situation developed day by day and ultimately turned into a 3 week stay for the dogs before we were able to secure rented accommodation and move them all back in with us. The team at Alconbury Hill lavished our dogs with exercise, treats and lots of attention. Through-out the stay, Gareth & Andrea handled our situation with empathy, kindness and professionalism welcoming us whenever we could pop in to visit or walk our dogs. Doesn't Get Homesick - “When I bring my dog Blue to Alconbury Hill Kennels he’s so excited to be there and loves it so much that he drags me in.
